Born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, Smiley began his musical journey playing gospel drums in his local church before rising to international acclaim. Now the powerhouse drummer for Dua Lipa, he has captivated audiences around the world with his explosive energy, precision, and musicality.

Inspired by his brother, athlete Christian Wade, alongside renowned UK drummers including Andre Atherley, Smiley developed a distinctive style that blends gospel influences with contemporary pop and R&B grooves.
